The first in-person partner meeting of the SIH-coordinated Nordplus Nordic Languages project Discover Iceland and Sweden took place on 28-29 October 2021 in Reykjavik.
At the meeting, the project partners from Lithuania, Iceland, and Sweden presented and discussed ideas for the main products of the project – platforms for learning Icelandic and Swedish languages and getting to know the cultures of these nations. The partners also discussed the project’s dissemination activities, administrative and financial issues, next steps, and the plan for the first year. The meeting was also virtually attended by Nerijus from LLC Inato, who are helping to develop the platforms on the IT side. He answered questions about the technical capabilities of the platforms being developed.
The participants of the meeting shared information about other projects currently implemented by their institutions. SIH representatives director D. Malinauskienė and project coordinator K. Kudriašova presented projects ACDC 4 You / Artistic Creativity Development Course for You (Erasmus+), INCrEAsE – Intercultural Competences for Adult Educators working with Multicultural and Multilingual Learners (Erasmus+), and TECPC / Together Everyone Can Prevent Cyberbullying (Erasmus+).
