On 20 April 2023, the Erasmus+ Project ACDC 4 You | Artistic Creativity Development Course for You final international conference titled „Unlocking the Power of Creativity:  Ways for Enhancing Innovation and  Productivity“ took place in Laisvės namai Vilnius.

The conference dedicated to Soros International House 30th anniversary was attended by more than 60 participants from all over Lithuania and project partners from Bulgaria, Ireland, Romania and Spain.

The creativity conference, as it should be, started in an unconventional way: the guests of the event were welcomed by the artist Birutė Nomeda Stankūnienė, who immediately got into a whirlwind of artistic activity - the participants enthusiastically got involved in the creation of a joint installation.

Warm Welcome words of SIH director and project coordinator Daiva Malinauskienė, The President of Lithuanian Association of Adult Education Inga Jagelavičiūtė and a project manager of the Lithuanian Education Exchange Support Foundation Edita Trečiokienė were followed by a short project presentation „ACDC 4 YOU- Exploring creativity“ given by D. Malinauskienė.

The keynote speaker Aurelija Stankūnaitė, Agile Coach and Connective Play Facilitator (UK/LT) during her interactive presentation „The creative impulse and the instinct of play“ invited the audience to immerse into play.

After the coffee break, the games and music continued in three practical workshops moderated by representatives of the project partners:

  • „Creative exercises as a tool to boost creativity and collaboration in teams“, Raya Stanachkova, KuTu Project Coordinator, Bulgaria;
  • „Creativity Stimulator: a workout to train your artistic mind“, Gileta Kierienė, SIH Project Coordinator, Lithuania;
  • „Put your creativity to music“, Fernando Benevente, IFESCOOP Project Manager, Spain.

The conference was summed up by Anca Colibaba, the president of President of EuroED and Stefan Colibaba, Professor of Literature and Applied Linguistics from Romania, who gave the SIH team a lot of nice words for a very professionally organized event as well as the implemented project.

The event was crowned by the ACDC song, a symbol of farewell and new beginning, performed by IFESCOOP CEO and project partner from Spain, Fernando Benavente, together with professional musician Juan Carlos Mellado (Spain/Belgium).

The conference was moderated by Mindaugas Reinikis, Communication and Marketing Consultant, Lithuania.
