Green Future project workshop at Vilnius Varpo Adult Gymnasium

On 8 February 2024, the Nordplus Adult project "Green Future" event - the workshop"Green Deal - let's create a sustainable future together" took place at the Vilnius Varpo Adult Gymnasium.

The participants of the event were presented by a keynote speaker Lina Paškevičiūtė, chairwoman of the Environmental Coalition, who delivered the presentation " What is the Green Course? How is Lithuania moving towards a Green Future?"

Then in the working groups, the participants analysed situations based on stories collected by the project's steering group. The groups were moderated by Arūnė Taunytė, Regina Dovidavičiūtė and Vida Greičiuvienė.

The panel discussion "Let's create a sustainable future today" that followed involved:

• Regina Dovidavičiūtė, Mentor of "Senjorų pasaulis"
• Arūnė Taunytė, Member of the Board of the Lithuanian Association of Adult Education
• Vida Greičiuvienė , Head of "Senjorų pasaulis"
• Anastasija Šapovalova, Viktorija Drutel, Pia Dirks, Chantal Dirks, students of Vilnius Varpo Adult Gymnasium
