As part of the NORDPLUS / Nordic Languages project “ Let's Get to Know Denmark and Finland ”, an online workshop took place on September 18, 2024.
During the workshop, a team from Lithuania - high school students and their teacher from Veiviržėnų Jurgio Šaulio gymnasium met their colleagues – students from Finland Business College Helsinki
During the workshop, the participants were briefed on the project, its progress and achievements. They also had an opportunity to present their schools and themselves, which they did in a particularly fun way – Lithuanians by presenting their favorite Lithuanian words and explaining why do they like them, while members of the multicultural Finnish team introduced their countries of origin.
The events culminated in fun quizzes prepared by the students themselves: Lithuanian team created a quizz about Lithuania for the Finnish team, while the latter came up with the quizz for Lithuanians on Lithuania.
The event was a great fun and success. We believe that contacts and friendships will be established between the participating institutions and among the participants.
