The Final Conference of the Nordplus/ Nordic Languages project “Let‘s get to Know Denmark and Finland”

On June 12 the final project conference was held in Vilnius. It was organized the project partnership - Soros International House (LT), BrainLog (DK), Anmiro Oy (FI) together with the LieDM association.

During the event, inspiring presentations were made by the President of the LieDM Association, Professor Habil. Dr. Margarita Teresevičienė, the Head of the Electronic Learning Center of Utena College, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jūratė Urbonienė and Aušra Dara, Senior teacher at Veiviržėnai J. Šaulys Gymnasium.

After the break, three parallel practical workshops were organized by the Head of the LieDM Association Administration, Lecturer at the Institute of Innovative Studies of the VMU Academy of Education, Dr. Daiva Urmoniene, SIH Academic Activities Coordinator, EL teacher Renata Žuk and Helsinki Business College lecturer, Roosa Kallio together with BrainLog project manager Diyana Todorova.

The day ended with reflections and a panel discussion led by the host of the entire conference, SIH Director, Daiva Malinauskienė, with the affirmed conclusion “A Critical Look at OER: Use, but Think!”

Thanks to all participants, speakers and partners for the fellowship, insights and inspiration to continue working in the field of open education! This topic turns out to be extremely important and relevant in today's life of educators and learners.
