On 8-10 February 2018 project partner "Soros International House" (SIH) participated in the biggest annual international educational fair in Lithuania - „Studies 2018” (www.litexpo.lt/lt/parodos/-studijos-2018). This year the fair was focused on international learning and career planning.

The meeting and the BarCamp were attended by project partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, France, Spain, and Greece. In the BarCamp sessions, many interesting and valuable ideas were exchanged, moving closer to the development of a proposal for the future 50+ entrepreneurship training program/methodology.
Topics dealt with in Vilnius BarCamp covered themes like “After retirement business ideas”, “Cooperative training for senior entrepreneurs”, “Career management skills for people 50+”, “The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method for effective workshops involving senior workers” and many other.
Summing up, there are some aspects that seemed to repeat in some or another way in various presentations – firstly, people, who are 50+ should be open to obtaining new skills, secondly, they should cooperate with youth in order to develop their business and they should do it in a sphere they feel passionate about or have specific knowledge about.
