On 12 November 2020 SIH in collaboration with the Lithuanian Association of Distance and e-Learning (LieDM) – the associated partner in the project organized Live Web Conference – a final event of Be Digital Social Media Training.
The virtual event was opened with the welcoming words from Daiva Malinauskiene, Soros International House director, the project coordinator and Estela Daukšienė, President of LieDM (LT).
The key speaker Elena Trepulė, Associated Professor at Vytautas Magnus University Education Academy (LT) delivered the presentation on changing attitudes towards aging and digital skills.
Trainers from partner countries - Frosti Jónsson (IS), Domantas Širvinskas (LT), Karen Klausen (NO), Evita Brilte (LV) – delivered engaging presentations and reflections on training.
In the panel discussion moderated by Gileta Kieriene, the project participants Gražina Mongirdienė (LT), Ilze Spunde (LV), Jóhanna Þórdórsdóttir (IS), Sudeepika Liyanapathiranage (NO) shared their experiences and feedback from Be Digital training on behalf of the project target group.
The conference was summarised by Clare Jortveit Senior advisor, University of Agder (NO).
The conference, moderated by Daiva Malinauskienė, was a great success and the feedback was really good.
