Online courses with videos for the field of veterinary communication dealing with prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases transferable from animals to humans
In an effort to increase the knowledge and understanding of current and probable future public health significance infectious disease transmitted from non-human animals to humans, a consortium of 4 countries (Romania, Croatia, Lithuania and Italy) proposed the ZoonosesOnlineEducation project.
The project aims to create open digital educational resources in the field of veterinary medicine based on developing innovative guidelines on zoonotic diseases study and veterinary, medical, pedagogical, linguistic and raise awareness intervention related to identify, monitor and control malaria and dirofilaria, useful for the academic, professional and general beneficiaries.
On 8-10 February 2018 project partner "Soros International House" (SIH) participated in the biggest annual international educational fair in Lithuania - „Studies 2018” (www.litexpo.lt/lt/parodos/-studijos-2018). This year the fair was focused on international learning and career planning.
SIH team had a great chance to present the international ongoing projects or the projects it has recently impplemented such as ePublisher, Senior Volunteers for Migrant Integration, TALES@home, Keep50+, ZOE and Parents4all.
On 4-5 May 2017 Erasmus+ “ZOE” project partners met in Zadar, Croatia. During the meeting the partners from Romania, Italy, Croatia and Lithuania presented the state of art in the field of zoonosis in the respective countries, discussed the proposed framework of the zoonosis study as well as the project management and reporting issues. Later the partners discussed and approved the project website http://zoeproject.eu and the calendar of upcoming activities, agreed on the preliminary dates for the 3rd partner meeting, which will take place in Italy on 5-6 October, 2017.
Soros International House in the meeting was represented by the project coordinator Gileta Kierienė.
On 28-29th of November 2016 ZOE – ZoonosesOnlineEducation project partners from Romania, Italy, Croatia and Lithuania, representing 10 education and research institutions gathered in Iasi, Romania, for the project kick-off meeting.
During the meeting, the partners presented their institutions. Also the aims, objectives, target groups and the planned outputs of the project were presented and looked into. The partners discussed in detail various issues related to the implementation of the project, such as intelectual outputs, management, financial and reporting issues, internal communication aspects, project dissemination strategy and materials, as well as the project branding and the website.
The partners discussed and approved the calendar of upcoming activities, agreed on the preliminary dates for the 2nd partner meeting, which will take place in Croatia on 27-28 April, 2017.
SIH in the meeting was represented by the director Daiva Malinauskienė and project coordinator Gileta Kierienė.
